Backstreet Boys have performed with New Kids on The Block in American Music Awards of 2010

It was said in year 2007 that the band New Kids on The Block hand been reunited for recording its one CD. The group also released the CD for the new album and sung its songs during the concert of 2008. This album was made after 13 years of gap, its name was The Block and it was released on 2nd September 2008.
Since then, the group had continued its efforts to launch a tour with Backstreet Boys band. The tour was finally planned; both these bands had been continuing their recordings for the tour.
Up to now, in November of 2010, the two bands have launched a successful tour of North America. The both bands are together called NKOTB/BSB.
Where these bands have gone on their tour of North America, these bands have also together performed at American Music Awards on ABC.
American boy band from Boston and Massachusetts emerged in 1984 under the production of Maurice Starr. The band was named as New Kids on the Block.
At present, the members of this band are Danny Wood, Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Jonathan Knight and Jordan. The New Kids on the Block have been enjoying success since their formation of early 1980s – their success continued in 1990s as more than 80 million copies of their music albums were sold world wide during this period.

Two Music Awards of America came in their credit during 1990. These records were given to them for the categories of Favorite Pop/Rock Band and Favorite Pop/Rock Album. In year 1994, the band New Kids on the Block was broken – since then several attempts happened to rejoin the band together and all of them had been unsuccessful.
