David Hasselhoff: At the end of the last century, I found myself trapped inside the famous American Hotel in Amsterdam  by a massive crowd blocking the entrance. I ran to the reception and asked what the hell was going on. A manager looked at me as if I know, and said simply, and calm, rather, Hasselhoff.
For a second I thought to ask what the hell the word Hasselhoff means in English, but I realized I was naked witnessed continued strength in global pop culture that is David Hasselhoff. Soon, I’ll have my own channel – I’ll be like Barney, she once said Hasselhoff.
The Hoff can not achieve this particular American dream yet, but he has already lived a few. And now the dream is roasted with his own Comedy Central – I’m about to see – and its next series of A  E reality with his two daughters. Until he has 24 hours of Hoff-Channel history, here’s a playlist of a rescuer who has a certain iconic floating upward.
