The earthquake in Oklahoma today was a moderate one, 4.3 to 5.1 in magnitude.
The Oklahoma earthquake took place early Wednesday morning, at 9:06, according to experts, and there were no victims or damage reported.
Its depth was around 3.1 miles deep, so it was quite a shallow earthquake.
Experts give different magnitude figures for the Oklahoma earthquake. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) says it was 4.3 on the Richter scale. On the other hand, the Oklahoma Geological Survey says it was 5.1 in magnitude.
Its location was about 5 miles east of the city of Norman, in Cleveland County and approximately 99,000 people could have felt it moderately. Around 2 million people could have felt light shaking.
Minor damage was also reported, but nothing serious was reported.
