The new slate of HP TouchPad looks personal and elegant. It is a beauty with a slim black profile. The slim black profile highlights the 9.7-inch screen with 1024 x 768 pixels display. Even its look gives a feast to the eyes of you.
A massive down turn came to WebOS when the company was sold 9 months ago and all the hard work that Palm team had put into it, seemed of no importance. But now, TouchPad indicates a new direction for Palm. Unique ‘card’ interface of WebOS suits the slate form factor of device, perfectly.

Flash and multitasking are supported on device. This device supports Dropbox, Google Docs, and Box.net for cloud file storage as well as HP Wireless Printer support. Skype is also available for video calls. Quickoffice comes with this device.
In hardware specifications, this device has Dual Core 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon Processor, Gyro / Accelerometer, 802.11 b/g/n Blue tooth 2.1 + EDR, Compass, 9.7 inch screen, 1024x 768 display, and it supports video calling as it has 1.3 megapixel webcam. Its weight is 1.6 pounds and it is13.7 mm thick.
From comparison’s point of view, its size is exactly the same as compared to an iPad. The device, including Palm’s excellent mail applications, runs all standard WebOS PIM applications.
