TV Show Epic Meal Time

The concept for this show, Epic Meal Time came forward when Morenstein was filmed  eating a Wendy’s hamburger containing six beef patties and eighteen bacon strips. They filmed and aired the first episode entitled “The Worst Pizza Ever!”. In this episode, they made a “fast food pizza” containing KFC popcorn chicken, a Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme, a McDonald’s Big Mac and chicken nuggets, a Wendy’s Baconator and french fries, an A&W Teen Burger (bacon cheeseburger) and onion rings, and a cheese pizza. The entire calory content of this meal was 5,210 calories and 286 grams of fat and the episode was uploaded on YouTube on October 17, 2010. This episode gained popularity instantly and there were over millions of views with in a few days. As the first episode was a huge success, the producers kept on making and airing the show. Today, each episode is hosted by Morenstein. The program is filmed with a Canon 7D digital single-lens reflex camera and the show depicts Morenstein and recurrent cast members cooking and Morenstein narrating the entire process. The meals are meat-based, loaded with alcohol and loads of calories. Episodes end with a group enjoying the feast in an extremely messy way.

This is a one of its kind show that has gained popularity and fame throughout the world owing to the unconventional ways of cooking and serving foods that are not only strange but also decadant. People are attracted towards the show not only because of its unique and different concept but also due to the host Harley Morenstein who has gained tremendous popularity owing to his great performance as the television show host.
